When I first heard of it, I didn’t think it was important because I was still fascinated with writing. I realize, I am a tad retarded when it comes to the internet. It took me quite a while to come to a light bulb moment that there was absolutely more to the world wide web than adult and sleazy porn sites. There is a lot of those I can say and they can really use up your time but, I can state, blogging held my attention the longest because I love to write. Who cares that I am no good at it but the desire to write exists. Never mind that there was no readership. Writing was all I needed to keep me well content. Well, for a while, anyway. I got nauseated doing the same old things, namely, blogging, or more importantly, I ran out of ideas to opine about. I had to have a change to keep from going crazy and I turned my focus on other stuff like finding readers. So I studied social bookmarking. Nothing in depth, just superficial stuff like, how does it work and simple things like that. The excellent thing about social bookmarking sites is that it requires no college degree. You sign up and submit your sites and they accept it. Then the magic begins. Search engines find your sites and rank them. cool! I have had a site rank in number one on Google’s search pages after I submitted it to a few social bookmarking sites.
