Everyone has them and mine usually revolve around the premise of life and death. I think about this a great deal and I need to grasp what life is. I am very sure that a host share this yen of mine since it is mind that is responsible for it and my mind is not any different from other people’s minds. We all exhibit similar mental propensities and characteristics. So, what do I think about? Largely, I consider the world and the subject of life. What makes life tick? It is quite easy to see that there is pain along with pleasure in this life. The duality of things is plain to see. What concerns me most is finding what lies beyond the obvious. There are religions and ideas which try to teach that which is obscure and most of them are lacking in reasonable examples. Life can be soft or hard. That appears to be the usual case. A difficult life is nothing more than the opposite of a cushy life. Who can say that one is better than the other? A hard life can lead a man to work harder and cause him to achieve more. An easy life can make one weak. Which one is better than the other? Certainly, there are mutitudes of underlying questions than these simple observations. To paraphrase the movie, there is more than meets the eye. Take the scriptures or the koran. They seem to preach something relating to god, and conflict is what ensues from adhering to one or the other. I have often been confused by this situation and I cannot believe that one is superior to the other. Surely, there are other variables at work than a simple belief in one or the other. One god is fine with me and there are many belief systems that allow for a multiplicity of gods. I have been imagining this and it would seem to be a daunting task at first glance. The question arises, what could make one want to change the world in the first place? This appears simple enough and anyone who has any sense could quickly see the basis of this thesis. On the other hand it could be demonstrated that a lot of people want to alter the world to fit their imagination of what the world should be. This puts us in a very intriguing situation, namely, moving forward and the other side which is, no change. The status quo can afford a protective feeling to people and we all are aware of people’s lack of desire to change. Anything out of the predictable becomes threatening and consequently undesirable. I suppose we can show a preference for one opinion or another and conjure numerous reasons to rationalize one side and not the other. We might decide to do a lot fence-sitting and sit around until one side seems to be be more weighty and share the opinion of that side. This is what a lot of folks do and is legal. However, we cannot do like an ostrich on the question that a number of people have to change the world. The downtrodden or the have-nots have good|some motivation for desiring to change the world. These could be classified as revolutionaries. Well, there is nothing wrong with wanting some change here and there but it becomes negative and un-progressive when it proceeds for longer than necessary. People need a modicum of stability in order to be productive and an overabundance of revolution is not a good thing|at all desirable. Something which stirs up the mind would be desirable. I support that kind of changing. It might lead to a improvement in the planet if it gathers speed. Is it consequently safe to conclude that making alterations to the world can be obtained by changing the mind? I would like to consider that premise and discover if it holds water. A mind that is too stiff and unchanging is ultimately boring and lacks dynamism. I go for dynamism and would advocate that over staticity. Take care of your health.
